Typically holiday letting should be considered in high tourist traffic flow areas for which the Gold Coast is well suited. Costs of holiday renting

Costs associated with holiday rental also have to be considered. Following each guest stay a clean will be required. Depending on the size of the property the cost may vary. We can provide you with an estimate. Regular professional cleaning will result in more return bookings, guest referrals, and reduce the wear and tear of a property. Crockery, cutlery, glassware, even linen that will all have to be attended to at each clean. You may wish to offer mid stay cleaning to your guests for stays of 8 nights or more – ultimately this will reduce the cost of the final clean as well as enabling you to monitor the property during guest stays.

Many properties will seek to add services such as Foxtel and broadband internet access as part of the rental package. These fixed costs services can ultimately be included in a higher nightly rate as well as higher occupancy. You may also need to consider council rates and if your insurance cover is adequate.
